Your recordings never come to us
VISEC runs on your own Windows PC. Video, snapshots, number plates and QR reads are written to your own drive and stay there. We do not receive them, store them, or have any way to look at them. There is no VISEC account and no hosted storage.
If you set up email alerts, VISEC sends those from your own settings to the address you choose. They do not pass through us.
What we collect
Most of it you hand us yourself. Two things are automatic, and they are listed here too.
- The contact and license forms. Your name, your email address, which license you asked about, and anything you write in the message. We use it to answer you and to send your license key — nothing else.
- Anti-spam. The form keeps a short-lived count per IP address so it cannot be flooded. These counters hold no personal detail and are deleted automatically.
- Payments. Card and PayPal payments are handled entirely by PayPal — we never see or hold your card number. PayPal tells us the amount and the email address on the account, so we can send your key and issue a receipt; their own privacy policy governs what they collect. If you pay by bank transfer instead, we see only what appears on the payment reference and our invoice.
- Web traffic. This site sits behind Cloudflare, which records aggregate visit statistics (pages, country, browser type) and blocks attacks. We use it to see which pages are read. It does not identify you personally and we do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Licensing records — your key, the tier and the purchase date — are kept for as long as the license exists, because we need them to re-issue a key if you lose it or change PC. Contact-form messages are kept while the conversation is useful and then deleted.
Who else sees it
Nobody we do not need. We do not sell, rent or trade your details. The only third parties involved are PayPal (to take payment), our email provider (to deliver our reply and your key), and Cloudflare (to serve and protect this site).
Your choices
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time through the contact form. Deleting your licensing record means we can no longer re-issue that key, so we will say so before we do it.

If this policy changes we will update this page. Material changes will be noted here with the date.
